The Heating Box Saves Time, Cost and Space
The demand for high efficient hydro
heating (both forced air and in-floor space heating applications)
has been increasing dramatically due to the recent trend of higher
energy costs.
Since the introduction of tankless
gas water heaters in North American market, most tankless water
heater manufacturers and distributors have shown the options to use
it as a heat source for hydro space heating and/or combination
system that can heat both potable water and hydro space heating
applications.
However early efforts to use this
application had number of drawbacks to design and application of
combination systems. First, it creates temperature fluctuation by
conflict of demands between domestic hot water supply and hydro
space heating. And second, it involves impractically long time to
design and installation with inconsistent results on every project.
The Heating Box has opened up
great opportunities to the HVAC industry with its compact design and
plug and play approach. This pre-engineered solution offers
convenience to plumbing and heating related contractors in
domestic/space heating applications with its simplified design and
easier installation process.
The Heating Box was designed and
created by Ted Kwak, a pioneer of tankless gas water heater
technology and its applications in North American market. While he
was in the tankless gas water heater industry, he sought for an easy
solution to make a combination system utilizing just one tankless
gas water heater. His skilled engineering background and extensive
experience in the industry provided the momentum for the innovative
and streamlined design of the Heating Box. It is specifically
designed to fit the unique lifestyles of North American market.
Currently there are two models of
the Heating Box offered: an open-loop system and a closed-loop
system. In order to choose a right system for your project, to
understand the local code and application is very important. There
are many possible applications available for future projects;
radiant in-floor heating, radiant baseboard heating, fan-assisted
forced air heating, snow melting system and more. The Heating Box
is equipped with a sensor that prioritizes the domestic hot water
supply by computer monitored control and thermostatic mixing devices
ensure steady output temperature. The Heating Box also has features
like freeze prevention system, pump exercise program, automatic air
separator and other safety features that are automatically
controlled by our computer board.
The Heating Box will offer savings
in time, cost and space to builders, contractors and home owners to
any projects for all applications.
